TEJA Network (Network of Cultural Spaces in Support of Emergency Situations) is announcing its 2025 Emergency Residency Program for artists and cultural practitioners residing in the West Bank and Jerusalem. In response to the challenges faced by the Palestinian artistic community, TEJA is expanding its program to offer six new three-month residencies in Spain, designed to provide a safe and creative environment where artists can continue their work and connect with new audiences and local networks.
Selected residents will receive accommodation, legal and psychological support, a monthly stipend of €1,300, and up to €2,000 for production expenses. Residencies will take place across various partner spaces in Madrid, Barcelona, and Bilbao, and aim to foster cultural exchange, reflection, and dialogue within a supportive artistic community.
Applications are open until December 31st, 2024. Eligible applicants must reside in Palestine, have a working knowledge of English, French, or Spanish, and complete the online application. For questions, please contact convocatorias@redteja.org.
