Contemporary artist based in Kurdistan. Shirwan works with different materials commonly used as educational equipment, questioning their use and purpose by changing and altering their use. Through installation, voice, text and performance Shirwan¨s aparently innocent objects raise questions about art and our own reactions as a community.
